What are your hours?
Open Tuesday to Sunday, 7 AM to 11 PM. Closed Monday. The cafe, the hookah lounge, and the market all keep the same hours.
Is Middle Beast open on Mondays?
No. Middle Beast is closed on Mondays. We are open 7 AM to 11 PM Tuesday through Sunday.
What kind of food do you serve?
Middle Eastern, Mexican, and Italian. From the Middle East: chicken and lamb kabsa, mixed grill, chicken and beef shawarma, falafel, hummus, manakeesh from the oven, and sweets like basbousa and pistachio crepes. From Mexico: Sancho, California, Azada, and chicken rice burritos, the Azada torta, Azada tacos and a taco platter, and a chicken quesadilla. From Italy: pizza from the oven and pastas like chicken alfredo and spaghetti with meat sauce. Plus burgers with halal beef and breakfast whenever we're open.
Do you serve Mexican food?
Yes. The menu has burritos (Sancho, California, Azada, Chicken Rice), an Azada torta sandwich, Azada tacos at $2.99 each, a taco platter with rice and beans, and a chicken quesadilla on the kids menu.
Do you serve Italian food?
Yes. Pizza from the oven: Middle Beast Pizza $19.99, BBQ Chicken Pizza $17.99, Chicken Spinach Pizza $18.99. Pasta: Chicken Alfredo Pasta $22.99, Shrimp Alfredo Pasta $24.99, Spaghetti Meat Sauce $22.99, Mediterranean Pasta $22.99, Chicken Creamy Pasta $22.99.
Do you serve breakfast?
Yes, whenever we're open (Tuesday through Sunday). The Breakfast & Brunch menu has eggs, shakshuka, a Turkish breakfast, avocado toast, omelettes, pancakes, French toast, waffles, crepes, and breakfast sandwiches.
Do you serve halal food?
We cook Middle Eastern dishes in the halal tradition, and our burgers use halal beef patties. We do not currently carry a halal certification, so ask our staff about any specific menu or grocery item.
Can I order online for pickup or delivery?
Yes: pickup with Clover, delivery with DoorDash, delivery with Uber Eats. Every Order button on this site lets you pick the one you want. You can also call (417) 306-9185.
Do you have hookah?
Yes. Hookah is served outdoors only, in the backyard cabanas: classic and fusion flavors at $17.50 per hookah. Guests must be 21 or older with a valid government-issued ID. WARNING: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.
Do I need a reservation for hookah?
Reservations are not required, but they help on weekends and for groups. Request a spot on the hookah page (21+ verification required) or call (417) 306-9185.
Do you offer catering?
Yes. Family trays serve 4 to 5 (Chicken Kabsa $85, Lamb Kabsa $110, Family Grill Platter $85), and we cater offices, student events, parties, and family gatherings. Request a quote on the catering page or call (417) 306-9185.
What is in the market?
Middle Eastern and international groceries: spices, rice and grains, legumes, Arabic and Turkish coffee, tea, dates, olives, pickles, tahini, pomegranate molasses, grape leaves, frozen and refrigerated foods, and imported snacks and sweets. The market is next to the cafe at the same address and keeps the same hours.
Do you serve Turkish and Arabic coffee?
Yes. Hot-sand Turkish coffee brewed in a cezve, cardamom Arabic coffee served in a dallah pot, and Adeni karak tea by the cup or the pot. The market also sells coffee and tea to brew at home.
