We do NOT collect or store credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or any payment information directly. All payment processing is handled by Clover, a third-party POS and payment processor. We use the information we collect to:

• Process and fulfill your food and beverage orders
• Contact you regarding your order status or questions

All prices displayed on our website and menu are subject to applicable Missouri state and local sales tax. Current Missouri sales tax rate applies to all food and beverage purchases where required by law.

• Orders cancelled before preparation begins: full refund
• Orders cancelled after preparation has begun: no refund
• Incorrect orders due to our error: we will remake the item or provide a credit at our discretion
• Dissatisfaction with taste preferences alone does not qualify for a refund
• All refund requests must be made in person or by phone at the time of pickup

Use of our hookah and shisha lounge services is subject to our Age Verification Policy and Health Disclaimer. By using hookah services at our establishment, you acknowledge:

• You understand the health risks associated with tobacco and smoke inhalation
• Hookah services are for in-house use only and cannot be taken off-premises

Middle Beast Cafe prepares food in a kitchen that handles common allergens including but not limited to: sesame, tree nuts (pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds, pine nuts), shellfish, gluten, dairy, eggs, and soy. While we make every effort to accommodate dietary requests, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Customers with severe allergies order at their own risk. In compliance with federal law (Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act) and Missouri state law, all patrons purchasing, using, or accessing tobacco and hookah/shisha products must be 21 years of age or older.

Valid government-issued photo identification is required from every hookah guest, whatever their age. Acceptable forms of ID include:

• U.S. Driver's License or State ID
• U.S. Passport or Passport Card
• U.S. Military ID
• Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)

We strictly enforce our age verification policy. Any patron found to be under 21 will be denied service and asked to leave the hookah lounge area immediately. There are no exceptions.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who cannot provide valid identification.

WARNING: Hookah and shisha products contain tobacco and produce smoke. Tobacco use causes cancer, heart disease, stroke, lung disease, and other serious health problems.

Hookah smoke contains many of the same toxic chemicals found in cigarette smoke, including carbon monoxide, heavy metals, and cancer-causing chemicals. A typical hookah session may involve inhaling as much smoke as smoking 100 or more cigarettes.

Hookah smoke is not a safe alternative to cigarette smoke.

There is NO safe level of tobacco use.

Pregnant women, individuals with respiratory conditions, heart conditions, or compromised immune systems are strongly advised not to use hookah or be exposed to hookah smoke.

By using our hookah lounge, you voluntarily acknowledge and accept all health risks associated with tobacco and smoke inhalation.

Our hookah lounge area contains tobacco smoke. Individuals sensitive to smoke or with respiratory conditions should not enter the lounge area. Secondhand hookah smoke contains toxic and cancer-causing chemicals.

It is illegal to provide tobacco products to anyone under 21 years of age. MIDDLE BEAST HOOKAH CAFE LLC strictly enforces this prohibition. Any attempt to purchase tobacco products for a minor will result in removal from the premises and may be reported to law enforcement.

MIDDLE BEAST HOOKAH CAFE LLC operates in compliance with Missouri Revised Statutes Chapter 407 (Merchandising Practices), Missouri tobacco licensing requirements, and all applicable Springfield, MO municipal ordinances governing hookah and tobacco establishments.

Our kitchen prepares food using ingredients that contain or may come into contact with the following common allergens:

• SESAME: Used in hummus, tahini, and various dishes. Sesame is a major food allergen.
• TREE NUTS: Pistachio cream in the Pistachio Dream Crepe; hazelnuts in Nutella (crepes, pancakes, beehive bread); almonds on the basbousa; roasted nuts on the honey fruit medley. Pine nuts used in selected items.
• GLUTEN / WHEAT: Present in manakeesh dough, pizza dough, wraps, bread, and breaded items.
• DAIRY / MILK: Present in cheese manakeesh, pizzas, alfredo and creamy pastas, crepes, milk smoothies, karak tea, and various dishes.
• SHELLFISH: Shrimp in the Shrimp Alfredo Pasta.
• EGGS: Used in selected bakery and kitchen items.
• SOY: May be present in selected marinades and sauces.

This is not an exhaustive list. Menu items and ingredients may change. Always inform our staff of your specific allergy before ordering.

Our kitchen is NOT allergen-free. We prepare all menu items in a shared kitchen environment using shared equipment, cookware, and surfaces. We cannot guarantee that any menu item is free from cross-contamination with allergens.

Customers with severe or life-threatening food allergies should be aware that we cannot ensure complete allergen separation.

Our menu is designed with Middle Eastern culinary traditions in mind. However:

• We do not currently carry a certified Halal certification. Customers with strict Halal requirements should inquire with staff about specific items.
• We offer vegetarian items including hummus, falafel, grape leaves, and za'atar manakeesh. Ask our staff which items are also vegan.
• We do not serve pork products.
• Customers with specific dietary requirements should speak with our staff before ordering.
